Some Measures for Reducing Partial Discharge of Power Transformers

1.dust control, among the factors that cause partial discharge, foreign matter and dust are very important incentives. Whether it is metal or non-metallic dust, will produce a concentrated electric field, so that the initial discharge voltage insulation down, breakdown voltage decreases. Therefore, the transformer manufacturing process, should maintain a clean environment.

2.insulation materials focus on processing, insulation is very taboo with metal dust, because once the insulation pieces attached to metal dust, completely clean up is very difficult. It is therefore necessary to unify the central processing in the insulation workshop and to set up a machining area which should be kept isolated from other areas of dust production.

4.the seal of the tank and parts, the structure of the seal is directly related to the leakage of the transformer. So ensure that the sealing performance is reasonable.
